Thomson's Gazelles are nicknamed "Tommie." They are quirky, adorable antelopes. These gazelles have beautifully ridged and corrugated, S-shaped horns that curve backwards. The horns of males are much longer than the females. Their spastic tail wagging is like a constant windshield wiper. They have unique tongue movements and licking habits. The coloring of their fur is beautiful. However, they are small and abundant in Africa which makes them frequently ignored and seemingly insignificant other than for a predator's meal.
