Leopards living in Tanzania, Africa

Of all the cats, leopards are the most skilled and fastest climbers. They are very comfortable in trees where they often nap and also carry their meals for safekeeping from hyenas or lions. These solitary animals often live on kopjes (pronounced copies) which are huge rocks and rock formations jutting out of the plains. A leopard’s tail dangles and would drag the ground if it were not held up. It is endlessly expressive.
